This is the place where Takeo Kikuchi, grandson of Noritada Kikuchi, the last lord who gave away all of his lands to the villagers at the time of the Bakkan Boken, spent the rest of his life.
On December 1, the anniversary of Takeo's death, a graveside service is held.
